Setting up languages
The Display menu lets you set your language preferences for DVD subtitles, DVD audio
soundtracks, and DVD menus.
To set your language preferences:

On the player’s remote control, press STOP , then press SETUP . The main Setup menu
opens.

Use your remote control’s arrow buttons to highlight Display , then press ENTER . The
Display setup menu opens.

Press the buttons to highlight any of the following:
■ Set On Screen Display
Press the buttons to select English , French , or Spanish for the DVD player’s
on-screen setup menus and display text.
■ Subtitle Language
Press the buttons to select English , French , Spanish , Auto , or Off . Select Auto to
always select the DVD’s default subtitle language. Select Off to always turn subtitles
off. Because subtitle selections vary among DVDs, the DVD itself may override your
selection.
■ Turn Closed Caption
Press the buttons to select Off , TV , or DVD .
■ Set Networked Slideshow Time
Press the buttons to select Slow , Medium , or Fast .

Highlight OK , then press ENTER .

Press SETUP to close the Welcome to Setup screen.
