The elements
Dual element
The dual element comprises two cooking zones: an inner
one and an outer one.
If the size of the pan is the same as the inner cooking
zone, the element will work as a single element.
If the size of the pan is the same as the outer cooking
zone, the outer ring is activated automatically.
Hot surface indicator.
The cooktop has a hot surface indicator S for each eleĆ
ment. It shows you which elements are still hot.
You should, therefore, avoid touching the hob when this
indicator is shown.
Although the hob is switched off, the hot surface indicaĆ
tor
S will stay lit while the cooktop is hot.
If the pan is removed but the element is not switched off,
the luminous disc behind the control knob stays lit and
the display acknowledgement on the cooktop
l
will
flash.
