When this function is set to “NICAM”, the NICAM audio programmes will be recorded.
When this function is set to “MONO”, the Standard (monaural) audio programmes will be
recorded.
NOTE:
This function works only on NICAM bilingual programme.

interval during playback (or Live Memory Playback) or recording (or Live Memory Recording).

DV AUDIO REC

12BIT : Enables Audio Dubbing later.
16BIT : Audio Dubbing later is impossible but recorded sound quality is higher than
“12BIT”.
NOTES:
● When input mode is set to “D-1”, you cannot change “DV AUDIO REC” setting.

Select the appropriate mode when playing back an audio-dubbed programme on the HDD deck.
SOUND1 : Original recorded sound
SOUND2 : Audio-dubbed sound
MIX : Original recorded sound and Audio-dubbed sound
NOTES:
● When “AUDIO MODE” is set to “MIX”, both the main and sub audio tracks will be audible on
bilingual tapes.
● To select only the main audio or only the sub audio track on bilingual tapes, set “AUDIO MODE” to
“SOUND1”.
