E-mail notifications

Your phone will inform you when new

e-mail messages have arrived on your

incoming e-mail server.
Periodically (approx. every 15 min.) it

establishes a connection to the e-mail

server and checks whether new messages

are present.
New e-mail messages are indicated on all

registered Gigaset S45 handsets by an

advisory tone and by a flashing message

key

f. The À icon is shown in the idle

display.

Preconditions:

u

You have established an e-mail account

with an Internet service provider.

u

The incoming e-mail server uses the

POP3 protocol.

u

You have stored the name of the

incoming e-mail server and your per-

sonal access data (account name, pass-

word) in the phone.

incoming e-mail server. The list of e-mail

messages stored there is displayed.
The sender's name and e-mail address

(single line, abbreviated if necessary) are

displayed as well as the date and time.
