• Set the W3 jumper to Trigger Card, shown in Figure 3-6b, to select
the CLK10 source as the TRIG/CLK PORT A(B) on the
NI VXIpc-882 front panel. When selecting the trigger card as the
CLK10 input source be sure to set jumper W7 to set the direction of
CLK10 through the TRIG/CLK PORT A(B).

W4—CLK10 Source Select
In Slot 0 operation the CLK10 Source Select jumper allows you to select
the source for the VXIbus CLK10 that is routed to the backplane.
The default setting, Internal Oscillator, shown in Figure 3-7a, uses the
internal 10MHz ±50 ppm oscillator as the VXIbus CLK10 source.
Set the W4 jumper to External Source, shown in Figure 3-7b, to use the
front panel SMB or the Trigger Card as the CLK10 source. Jumper W3
External CLK10 Source Select is used in conjunction with W4 when W4 is
set to select an external oscillator as the VXIbus CLK10 source.
