Chapter 3. Creating sounds — basic section

Saving a sound (patch) you created (the Write operation)

The sound settings you modify are initially only temporary.
When you select another patch, the modified settings will
return to their original, unmodified values.

If you wish to preserve your new settings, you must perform
a Write operation to save the newly created patch.

Press [WRITE]. The Write screen will appear.

Turn [VALUE] to select the desired number location for

the new patch.

By pressing [F6] (EXCHANGE) you can move to the
Exchange screen (p. 25).

If you wish to proceed with the saving of the new patch,

press [WRITE].

* If you prefer not to save the patch, press [EXIT]. You will

return to Play page.

After you press [WRITE], the display will indicate

“NOW WRITING,” the patch will be saved, and you will
return to Play page.

Rearranging the order of patches (the Exchange function)

Use this when you wish to swap, or “exchange,” the memory
location of two user patches.

It is not possible to change the order of preset patches.

Make sure that you are in Play page.

If you are not in Play page, press [EXIT] several times.

Press [F6] (SYSTEM). The System screen will appear.

Press [F6] (EXCHANGE). The Exchange screen will

appear.

Press [F1] (PATCH A).

5.

Turn [VALUE] to select one of the patches that you wish

to exchange.
