Chapter 5

A slightly pitch-shifted sound is added to the original sound
of each string, producing a spacious feeling.

ON/OFF

Switches the detune on/off.

DETUNE [0–100]

A slightly pitch-shifted sound is added to the original sound
of each string.

Specifies the shift amount of the pitch-shifted sound.

ON/OFF

Switches the pedal pitch shift on/off.

PITCH [-24–24]

Specifies the amount of pitch shift obtained when you
operate the pedal.

STRING 1–6 [ON/OFF]

Turns pedal pitch shift on/off for each string. This allows
you to shift only the pitch of specific strings.

SET PDL (setting pedal)

Assign the Pitch Shift function to the built-in EXP pedal.

You can individually distort the sound of each string to get a
sound that can be played chordally without “breaking up.”

ON/OFF

Switches the distortion on/off.

* Turning [VALUE] will select PRESET.

MODE

Selects the type of distortion.
CLA OD (clear overdrive):

A clear overdrive sound is obtained.

TURBO OD (turbo overdrive):

Allows you to obtain a rich effect just like distortion,
without losing the subtle nuance of the overdrive.

DS1 (distortion 1):

Allows you to obtain a standard distortion sound.

DS2 (distortion 2):

Allows you to obtain a distortion sound with a rich
middle.

FUZZ:

This produces a basic fuzz sound.

DRIVE [0–100]

This sets the degree of sound distortion.

HIGH CUT [700 Hz–11.0 kHz, FLAT]

Adjusts the tone of the distorted sound.

LEVEL [0–100]

Adjusts the output level that is raised by being distorted.

POLY BAL (poly balance) [0–100]

Adjusts the degree of distortion for chordal playing.

DRV BAL (drive balance) [0–100]

Adjusts the degree of distortion between low and high
strings, to even out the volume balance.
