1.

Make sure you’re in Play page.

If you’re not in Play page, press [EXIT] several times.

2.

Press [F6] (SYSTEM).

3.

Press [F5] (MIDI).

4.

Press [PAGE

] to access page 3.

Press [CURSOR] to move the cursor to the BANK PROG

value, then turn [VALUE] to move to the Program
Change number to be set.

Press [CURSOR] to move the cursor to the PATCH value,

then select the target VG-88 internal Patch.

Repeat steps 5–6 as necessary.

8.

Press [EXIT] several times to return to the Play page.

* This setting is preserved even after you turn off the power.

Synchronizing to the MIDI

CLOCK arriving at MIDI IN

1.

Make sure you're at the Play screen.

If the Play screen is not the current screen, press [EXIT] a
number of times until the Play screen appears.

2.

Press [F2] (BPM TAP).

Turn [VALUE] to set the value to MIDI.

4.

Once you’ve finished making the setting, you may want

to save it. To do so, carry out the Write procedure (p. 25).

* If you do not want to save the setting, press [EXIT] to return

to the Play screen.

Specifying the Control Change number transmitted when the
pedal is operated

Here's how to specify the Control Change number that will be transmitted when you operate the built-in pedal or an external
pedal.

1.

Make sure you’re in Play page.

If you’re not in Play page, press [EXIT] several times.

2.

Press [F6] (SYSTEM).

3.

Press [F5] (MIDI).

4.

Press [PAGE

] to access page 2.

Use [CURSOR] to move the cursor to the parameter that

you wish to set.

6.

Turn [VALUE] to specify the Control Change number

that will be transmitted.

7.

Repeat steps 5–6 as necessary.

8.

Press [EXIT] several times to return to the Play page.

* This setting is preserved even after you turn off the power.
