Press [F4] (PATCH B).

Turn [VALUE] to select the other patch that you wish to

exchange.

Press [F6] (EXCHANGE) to exchange the patches.

The display will indicate “NOW EXCHANGING.”

When you have finished exchange, press [EXIT] two

times. You will return to Play page.

Very simple sound editing (EZ Edit function)

This method lets you create a sound by selecting one of the
preset sounds and adjusting only four parameters (DRIVE,
TONE, MOD, DELAY). Since you can also start with a patch
and modify it, it's easy to create the desired sound even if
you are not sure of the effect or settings of each effect unit.
The preset sounds are classified into several Types, and each
type has several Colors.

Press [EZ EDIT]. The EZ Edit screen will appear.

Press [F1] (TYPE), and turn [VALUE] to select the

desired TYPE.

* If you set type to “PATCH DATA,” you can create a sound

using the sound obtained by changing to the EZ Edit function.

Press [F4] (COLOR), and turn [VALUE] to select a sound.

* If you have set TYPE to “PATCH DATA,” it will not be

possible to change the COLOR.

Press [F2] (DRIVE), and turn [VALUE] to adjust the

amount of distortion or sustain.

* If you have TYPE set to “PATCH DATA,” then when

DRIVE is set to “PATCH DATA,” distortion and sustain are
set to the same amount set in the original Patch data.

Press [F3] (TONE), and turn [VALUE] to adjust the tone.

* If you have TYPE set to “PATCH DATA,” then when TONE

is set to “PATCH DATA,” distortion and sustain are set to
the same amount set in the original Patch data.

Press [F5] (MOD), and turn [VALUE] to adjust the depth

or modulation of the sound.

* If you have TYPE set to “PATCH DATA,” then when MOD

is set to “PATCH DATA,” distortion and sustain are set to
the same amount set in the original Patch data.

7.

Press [F6] (DELAY), and turn [VALUE] to adjust the

reverberation of the sound.

* If you have TYPE set to “PATCH DATA,” then when

DELAY is set to “PATCH DATA,” distortion and sustain are
set to the same amount set in the original Patch data.

8.

When you are finished creating the sound, perform the

Write operation (p. 25) if you wish to save your newly
created sound.

* If you do not want to save the sound, press [EXIT] to return to

Play page.
