Setting the GK SW function

Press [PEDAL/ASSIGN].

] to move to Page 2.

Press [F1] (ON/OFF) to switch the GK SW function on or

off.

* You can also switch this by turning [VALUE].

Press [F4] (EDIT).

Press [F1] (TARGET), and turn [VALUE] to select the

target.

Press [F4] (MIN), and turn [VALUE] to specify the

minimum value.

7.

Press [F5] (MAX), and turn [VALUE] to specify the

maximum value.

8.

Press [F6] (MODE), and turn [VALUE] to select the

desired mode.

* If MODE is set to “TOGGLE,” the S1 switch and S2 switch

will have the same function.

9.

When you have finished making settings, perform the

Write operation (p. 25) if you wish to save them.

* If you do not wish to save the settings, press [EXIT] to return

to Play page.

Setting the Assign functions

Control assign settings are needed for controlling the
parameters by using the EXP pedal or CTL pedal on the VG-
88 or an external pedal or MIDI device. You can set up to 8
different functions (assign numbers 1 – 8) to each patch
number to determine which controller should control which
parameter.

Here’s how to make Assign 1 settings. Adjust these settings
as needed for your application.

Press [F2] (ON/OFF) to switch the Assign function on or

off.

* You can also switch this by turning [VALUE].
