Printing a Configuration Report

1 Press Menu/Exit to enter the menu.

2 Press

ᮢ to select Report Print, press Enter.

3 Press

ᮢ or ᮡ to select Configuration, press Enter.

4 The report prints.

5 Press Stop to cancel printing.

Changing Operation Functions

1 Press the Menu/Exit key to enter the menu.

2 Enter the speed access number of the operator function

you want to change.

3 When the display shows the operator function you want,

press

ᮢ or ᮡ to select the setting, then press

Enter

or

4 Press Menu/Exit to return to standby mode.

List of Operation Functions

Remote Diagnosis
Speed access no. 14.

The remote diagnostics feature allows service personnel to
remotely dial and service the machine. This setting should
remain OFF unless a service represtnative has asked you to
turn it ON.

Available settings are ON and OFF.

The default setting is OFF.

Transmission (TX) Mode Default
Speed access no. 15.

!

When you enter speed access number 15, you move
directly into the resolution settings.

This function sets the machine’s default settings for original
document condition and transmission scanning resolution
(Type of Original and Resolution).

If you routinely send or receive faxes that require a different
settings, use the Transmission (TX) Mode Default to change
the settings to match your requirements.
