10–Editing Tracks

NOTE

If you choose the same track for both the SOURCE TRK

and the DESTINATION TRK and press the F2 (EXEC) key,

the “Same Track” message appears and the operation is

cancelled.

CLEAN OUT (track erase)

This completely erases the selected track. This

erases the entire track, so the IN and OUT points

have no effect.

There is only one parameter.

CLEAN OUT TRK

Select the track or tracks to erase. The choices are

1

to

4

(single track),

1/2

,

3/4

(track pairs) and

1–4

(all

tracks).
After setting the parameter, press the

F2 (

EXEC

)

key

to execute the edit. Press the

F1 (

BACK

)

key to return

to the

TRACK EDIT

menu screen without editing.

SILENCE (part erase)

This erases the selected track between the IN and

OUT points. This has the same effect as recording a

silent signal between the IN and OUT points. This

operation does not change the track length.
