Using three steam baskets simultane-
ously:
- Always put the thicker slices into the lower

basket.

-

Steam condensate in the upper steam
basket flows down to the lower basket, so
make sure of the compatibility of the tastes
of products being cooked.

- When you cook meat, chicken and vegeta-

bles always place meat in the lower basket
to avoid fresh meat juice get on the vegeta-
bles.

- Cooking time of the food in upper basket is

usually 5 minutes longer.

- For food with different cooking times: place

the larger items or the items which require
longer cooking times into the lower basket.
As they cook, remove the upper basket
filled with food that cooks more quickly if it
is ready, then cover the lower basket with
the lid and continue cooking.

CLEANING THE APPLIANCE
• Turn the food steamer off, unplug it and al-

low to cool before cleaning.

• Do not immerse the cord, plugs, or this ap-

pliance in water.

• Do not use abrasive cleaning products

cleaning the steam baskets, collector, up-
per lid and the body of the appliance.

• It is recommended to wash the steam bas-

kets, rice bowl, collector and lid with warm
water using dishwashing detergent. Do not
use the dishwasher for washing of the re-
movable parts.

• Wipe the water tank with damp cloth.
• Wash the steam baskets regularly.

REMOVING SCALE BUILD-UP FROM THE
APPLIANCE
Scale can occur up on the heating element
after 2-3 months of use of the food steamer.
This is a natural process which is connected
with the use of hard water. It is necessary to
remove scale from the heating element regu-
larly.
• Fill the tank with white vinegar to the maxi-

mum filling level. Warning: do not use
scale-removing chemicals.

• Place the drip tray (6), one steam basket

(1, 2 or 3), cover it with the lid (5) and oper-
ate the appliance for 20-25 minutes.

WARNING! If the vinegar flows over the wa-

ter tank, turn the appliance off and carefully
pour some amount of liquid off.

• Once the timer turns off, unplug the food

steamer and allow to cool it before pouring
the vinegar out.

• Rinse the tank with cold water, then pour

water once again into the collector (6),
place one steam basket (1, 2 or 3), cover
it with the lid (5) and operate the appliance
for 5 minutes.

• Unplug the food steamer once it cooled,

pour the water out, dry the collector, steam
basket and lid and take the appliance away
till the next use.

STORAGE
• Place basket n° 3 on the drip tray, then

stack basket n° 2, then basket n°1, then the
rice bowl, then the lid, upside down.

• There is a storage place in the body of the

appliance provided for storage of the cord.
Tuck the cord in the body of appliance by
pushing it slightly inside.

• Keep the food steamer away from children

in a dry cool place.

COOKING TIME AND RECIPES
• Cooking time depends on the volume of

products, their freshness, free space in a
basket and your preferences.

• Cooking time is indicated for the lower

basket, products in the upper basket are
cooked 5 minutes longer.

• Increase or reduce the cooking time ac-

cording to the amount of products.

VEGETABLES
• Cut off thick stems of broccoli or thick pedi-

cles of cauliflower.

• Cook the green leafy vegetables in the

shortest time – they lose their color quickly.

• Add salt and spices after cooking.
• Frozen vegetables shall not be defrosted

before cooking in the food steamer.
