Paging an Internal Subscriber

You are unable to reach an internal subscriber and thus want to page them.

If the system is equipped with a paging system (PS), the person can be paged. The paged person can answer
from any phone

Answering a Pager

Your pager is ringing and shows the phone number of the person trying to reach you.

You can answer from any internal phone

Note

The factory setting "0000" is not accepted. First change the PIN as described
under "Changing your PIN" or using the */# procedure *47 (see Chapter on */#
procedures). If you have forgotten your PIN, your system administrator can
reset it to the factory setting.

Enter the external call number directly, without the exchange access digit.

The external subscriber is called.

Press the Menu key repeatedly until the display reads "Page".

Page

Press the "Page" Foxkey.

Enter the phone number of the person to be paged.

OK

Press the "OK" Foxkey.

The person is paged and sees your phone number on the pager.

Press the Menu key repeatedly until the display reads "Call pick-up".

Pick-up

Press the "Pick-up" Foxkey.

Use the navigation key to select "Pager".

OK

Press the "OK" Foxkey.

Enter your own internal phone number.

OK

Press the "OK" Foxkey.

You are now connected with the person who made the general bell.
