Dismantling

Desktop phone:

1. Disconnect the phone cord and remove.
2. Carefully pull the stand away in the opposite direction.

Wall set:

1. Carefully slide the phone upwards out of the stand.
2. Disconnect the phone cord and remove.

Connecting the phone

Connecting your phone to the LAN

This phone communicates via the same connection as your PC (IP network / LAN). This means you do not
need a special phone connection. Ask your system administrator if you have any doubts about your phone’s
connection.

1. Connecting the LAN cord (not included in the scope of delivery) to a LAN socket.
2. Plug the connector at the loose end on the underside of the phone into the LAN socket.
3. Desktop installation only: To relieve the strain on the cable feed the cable through one of the cable

guides on the stand.

Connecting your PC to the LAN

If required, you can connect your PC or another LAN device to the phone, for example a printer.

1. Connecting the LAN cord (not included in the scope of delivery) to the PC’s network socket.
2. Plug the connector at the loose end on the underside of the phone into the PC socket.
3. Desktop installation only: To relieve the strain on the cable feed the cable through one of the cable

guides on the stand.

Note:

Your system administration will take care of the IP addressing and the commissioning of the
phone. The IP addresses and other information on your set are available through the local
configuration mode (press and hold down the END key).
