You can call up the presence of the user you want in the following situations (provid-
ing the user has a phone with presence profiles).
• when you call an internal user;
• in the phone book or in a call list;
• during dialling by name;
Notes:
• You can only call up a user's presence if the user in question has a phone with pres-
ence profiles.
• External applications such as Open Interfaces Platform (OIP) can affect your pres-
ence status. Contact your system administrator for more information.
<Presence profile> To activate the presence profile:
Select the profile you want and press the Select softkey.

The profile is activated.
Or:
Press the function key for <Presence> .
<Presence profile> To deactivate the presence profile:
Select another profile and press the Select softkey.
➔
The profile is deactivated.
Or:
Press the function key for <Presence> .
To check a user's presence:
Enter a complete internal name.
Or:
Select the user you want from the phone book or a call list.
➔
Presence status is displayed.
Press the Call softkey.
➔
The phone number is dialled.
