Checking the Voice Mailbox

Regardless of whether you check your voice mailbox from your own
extension, from a third party set, or from an external network, the
services offered for processing your messages, and for personalization
services, are always the same.

1.

Initially, your mailbox will indicate how many voice messages were
recorded, according to one of the following two system message
forms:

You have X new messages and Y old messages.

You have no message. Please hang up or dial *
to customize your mailbox.

The voice mail system distinguishes new messages from
messages that have already been listened to. When you have
listened to a message, it is automatically archived, unless you
erase it. The messages are organized into two distinct lists, where
each type of message is sorted chronologically, from the oldest to
the newest.

2.

Next, the announcement will indicate the various services that are
available for managing your messages. It is possible to interrupt the
announcement at any time by dialing a service code.

Note: The announcement is repeated up to 3 times if you do not
execute an action when it is being played. It is also automatically
repeated when a service has been completed successfully.
