1)

Look carefully at the current installation. The Hotchkis front sway bar installs in the
same location as the stock bar using new end links and bushings.

2)

Jack up the vehicle and support the front of the car on jack stands.

3)

Remove the pin on each side holding the plastic splashguard in place so that the bar
can be removed. You might want to use some trim clip puller pliers to remove the pin.
Loosen the stock end links with a 14mm socket and a 10mm wrench on the shaft of the
end link to keep it from spinning. Remove the end links.

4)

Use a 16mm socket and ratchet remove the four sway bar mount bolts. The bar should
now drop freely from the vehicle if the splashguard was pulled clear of the stock bar.

5)

Remove the stock bushing retainer brackets from the bar and keep them. You can
remove the bracket by twisting it to the side till it pops out.
