Independent of the connected VEGA signal conditioning instrument (VEGAMET or VEGA-
LOG), the enquiry or modification of parameters is made via the VEGA ASCII always accord-
ing to the same procedure. Each enquiry starts with the identifier "?“ followed by "R“ for Read
or "W“ for Write as well as the identifier for the parameter. The telegrams are completed by the
addresses of VEGACOM, VEGAMET and the component number as well as the value to be
written.

If it was not possible to transfer the order to a connected instrument, as message with the
value, or with information about the action just carried out, is returned.

For further information, please contact one of our employees.
