Find the crankshaft position
sensor on the lower front left side
of the engine. It is behind the
engine crankshaft pulley (engine
harmonic balancer). Unplug the
factory connector and plug it into the
corresponding crankshaft position
sensor connector on the OttoMind
harness. Plug the OttoMind crankshaft
position sensor connector into
the sensor. Take care to route the
wire harness away from the power
steering pump and secure it with the
supplied cable ties. See Figure
12 .

Locate the camshaft position
sensor below the fuel injection
pump between the timing gear
cover and the EcM. Unplug the
factory connector and plug it into
the corresponding camshaft position
sensor connector on the OttoMind
harness. Plug the OttoMind camshaft
position sensor connector into the
sensor. See Figure
13 .
Caution: It is very important that
you select the proper wire. The
Banks OttoMind will not function
properly if installed incorrectly.
