Verify Password Button

Pressing the “Verify Password” button with a valid password entered will change the “Password Status”
indicator from “Inactive”,

Password Status Indicator

An “Active” status allows the user to access other areas of the “Remote View” program. The user may
edit variables in the “View Data” section of the interface prior to verifying the password, but the individual
settings will not be updated until a valid password is accepted and the settings are updated as
discussed below.

An “Inactive” status will not allow further use of the PLC WatchDog. The user must always use the
“Log Off” button before closing the web browser when using the PLC WatchDog application as
discussed below.
