There are 6 different types of messages output by the 6400A. They are grouped below by type in
Table 6-9 - Table 6-14. The meanings of the various messages are discussed elsewhere in the
manual. The TEST, DIAGNOSTIC and WARNING messages are discussed in Section 9.1, 9.2, 9.3.
DAS and VARIABLES are discussed in Section 5.3.3 and 5.3.9 CALIBRATE is discussed in
Section 7.
