3.4.3. Performing a Quick Test
A quick test can be performed without having to enter the test current, the burn‐in time, and
the ramp time. For a quick test, a current of 100A is used, and the burn‐in time and ramp time
are both set to 5 seconds. The Quick Test mode should not be used if the circuit breaker is
connected to dual grounds (if the unit has the Dual Ground option).
NOTE
The Quick Test mode should not be used if the circuit breaker is connected to dual
grounds because the Auto‐Ohm will not monitor the external current probe current.
Use the steps below to perform a quick test:
a. Start from the “START‐UP” menu:

key (QUICK TEST)
b. The following screen will be displayed
Press the
[START]
key.
c. The unit will start ramping up the current to 100A. The following screen will be
displayed:
Once the current has reached 100A, the initial test results will be displayed and the
burn‐in sequence will be initiated. The following screen will be displayed:
