S te p 3: Secure the connector. Secure the serial device connector to the external
interface by tightening the two retention screws on either side of the connector.
S tep 0:
3.8.5 RS -422/485 S e ria l P o rt Co n n e c tio n
There is one RS-422/485 serial port of the uIBX-210-CV-N2600 for serial device
connection. Follow the steps below to connect a serial device to the RS-422/485 serial
port of the uIBX-210-CV-N2600.
S te p 1: Locate the RS-422/RS485 connector. The location of the RS-422/485 connector
is shown in Figure 1-2.
S te p 2: Connect the RS-422/485 cable to the RS-422/485 connector. The
RS-422/485 cable can be bought from IEI and is shown in Figure 3-25.
