Clearing Paper Jams
Follow these steps to clear a paper jam.
1. First, press the power button to shut off the power.
2. Press the front cover release button and gently open the
front cover.
3. Press the release lever and gently pull out the jammed
paper.
Paper jams can be caused by a dirty platen. Clean the platen
following the directions in the “Cleaning the Platen” section of
this Appendix.
4. Close the front cover.
5. Press the power button to turn on the power.
