7. Click the Quality tab.
Set the Resolution and Printing Option as desired.
Note
1) Checking the Enhanced Monochrome in the Printing Option
setting improves the printing results on coarse paper. How-
ever, it doubles the printing time and cartridge consumption.
2) Checking the Monochrome Faster in the Printing Option set-
ting shortens the printing time.
3) When printing black in 1200 dpi, select Monochrome Picture
or Monochrome Text in the Document Type setting, and Plain
Paper or Laser Print Paper in the Paper Type setting in the
Paper tab. Then set the Resolution to 1200 x 600 dpi in the
Resolution setting in the Quality tab.
8. When you complete all the setup, click OK to close the
Alps MD-1300 Properties dialog box.
9. Click OK in the Print dialog box to start printing.
