Configuring IP Addresses for the Core Switch 2/64

For the Core Switch 2/64, there are a number of Ethernet IP addresses and Fibre
Channel IP addresses to set. The procedures below describes how to configure
first the Control Processors, then the logical switches.

Table 1

describes the different areas that must be configured for a Core Switch

2/64.

Configuring the Control Processors:

1. Have the following information available:

— Ethernet IP Address

switch:admin> ipaddrset

Ethernet IP Address [10.77.77.77]: 10.64.119.7

Ethernet Subnetmask [10.77.77.76]: 255.255.240.0

Fibre Channel IP Address [0.0.0.0]:
