Right-click the target volume and select Blockade. A message appears asking if you want to
change the volume status.

Click OK to close the message. Information about the target volume is shown in blue bold
italics.

6.

Click Apply. A message appears asking if you want to apply the settings.

7.

Click OK to close the message. The status of the volume changes to Blocked.

NOTE:

If you select Restore and click Apply, you can change the status of the volume from Blocked
to Normal again.

If an external volume to be operated is disconnected, the external volume must be omitted
from the operation target.

If the encrypted parity group is shredded, the dummy data is encrypted. For this reason, the
encrypted volume cannot be overwritten with dummy data of the specified pattern.
