Manually remove the snapshot from the HP 3PAR Storage System.
• Use RMExch analyze to determine which snapshots are on the HP
3PAR Storage System but not reflected in the Recovery Manager
repository. Use removevv (and if required removevlun) to remove
the unwanted virtual volumes. See Appendix B, “Troubleshooting,”
for more details.
The notification command was not sent for Remote Copy.
• Check the communications between your system and the target system
using ping. You may also need to check the firewall settings.
RME5213: ERROR: Failed to

• Run RMReport to send the information to HP support.

This error occurs when attempting to remove or mount a virtual copy
when the mailbox database has already been removed or updated
from the Exchange server.

Remote Copy cannot initiate the synchronization operation. RME5408: ERROR: Remote

• Check that the Remote Copy volume group is in a "Synced" state,
using the showrcopy CLI command. (Refer to the HP 3PAR InForm
OS CLI Administrator’s Manual for details.)

Use ProvCfg to check that the primary HP 3PAR Storage System is
configured as the default on the primary production server. (For
ProvCfg.exe
utility details, refer to the provider's user's guide.)
