3-1-2 XP Remote Web Console Main Pane, Status Tab
The Status tab for the XP Remote Web Console main pane shows detailed information on the internal status of
the connected subsystem, including the service information message (SIM) information that is being reported to
the host. There are five SIM severity levels: good, service, moderate, serious, and acute (see Figure 3-8).
NOTE: XP1024/XP128 Disk Array subsystem generates a SIM whenever it detects an error or service
requirement. The status level displayed on the Status tab is based on the SIM information that is reported to the
host. SIM information that is not reported to the host is not displayed on the Status tab.
