If multiple operations are performed on a single target, the log output is as follows:
•
Add Æ Delete: The operations cancel each other, so no log information is output.
•
Change Æ Delete: Only the log information for the Delete operation is output.
•
Change 1 Æ Change 2: Only the log information for the Change 2 operation is output.
•
Add Æ Change: The log information is output as an Add operation, but the contents indicate that it was
a Change operation.
•
If a host group has been deleted, the following Host Group operations will not be output as log information:
•
Changing host mode
•
Changing Host Group
•
Adding or deleting paths
•
Adding, changing, or deleting WWN
Note 4:
If two or more Port operations are made, the notes on the log information are output as follows:
•
When two or more operations are performed for one target, the log information is output as one entry.
•
The log information is output in the order of the operations performed.
•
An example of the combination of multiple operations that are performed for one target at one time and the
output log information is as follows:
Change 1 Æ Change 2: The log information only on the Change 2 operation is output.
Note 5:
The notes on the log information that is output, when two or more LUSE settings are set, are as follows:
•
When two or more operations are performed for one target, the log information is output as one entry. For
example, if you have created one LUSE volume and then created another LUSE volume using the previously-
created LUSE volume, the log information is output just as "create".
•
The log information is output in the order of the operations performed.
•
The examples of the combination of multiple operations that are performed for one target at one time and
the output log information are as follows:
•
Create LUSE volume Æ Delete LUSE volume: The operations cancel each other, therefore the log
information is not output.
•
Create LUSE volume 1 Æ Create LUSE volume 2 Æ Create LUSE volume 3 using LUSE volume 1 and
LUSE volume 2 Æ Delete LUSE volume 3:
The log information only for the Create LUSE volume 1
operation and Create LUSE volume 2 operation is output.
Note 6:
The log information is output at the end, no matter when the Cache LUN XP operation is performed.
Note 7:
The log information is output in the Login information file (login.log).
