3-1-2-1 Controller Status Box
The Controller Status box is on the upper left corner of the Status tab (see Figure 3-9).

The Controller Status icon can be displayed as Normal ( ), Warning ( ), or Abnormal ( ), according to
the host SIM status.
NOTE: The status level displayed on the Status pane is based on the SIM information that is reported to the
host. SIM information not reported to the host is not displayed.
The Controller Status box shows the internal status levels of the following subsystem elements:
• Processor
• CSW (switch to control cache)
• Shared memory
• Power supply
• Battery
• Fan
• Environment & others
