3PAR1224: ERROR: Oracle ASMLib has not been installed.
REASON
In Linux, the required file /etc/sysconfig/oracleasm or
/etc/sysconfig/Oracleasm-_dev_oracleasm
which contains the oracleasm configurations
is missing.
SOLUTION
Install asmlib and configure oracleasm correctly.

3PAR1225: ERROR: The ORACLEASM_SCANORDER from <file> does not include <entity>.
REASON
In Linux, during virtual copy mount process, Recovery Manager for Oracle discovered that asmlib
is used from the database server and on the backup server with the multipathd daemon running.
Recovery Manager for Oracle will look for devices with device mapper multipath configured and
used from the backup server. In this case, the ORACLEASM_SCANORDER parameter in
/etc/sysconfig/oracleasm
should contain the value dm to instruct oracleasm to scan device
mapper devices.
SOLUTION
Reconfigure oracleasm to contain dm for ORACLEASM_SCANORDER. Restart oracleasm to put
the changes in effect.

REASON
During mount or unmount process, if ASM is used to manager Oracle database devices, the CSS

Follow Oracle documentation to start the CSS daemon process on the backup server.

REASON
The process to discover virtual volumes used by Oracle database failed. The file basevv or archvv
contains extra volumes’ WWN information, which cannot be found on the HP 3PAR storage system.
