SP in the /sp/prod/data/files/weekly/ location. You can email the zipped files to

[email protected]

or use a file transfer protocol (FTP) site to transfer the files.

To send files to HP 3PAR HQ by using FTP:
1.

In a web browser, enter

ftp.usa.hp.com

or 15.192.89.0.

2.

Log in as the spweekly user.

NOTE:

Contact HP Support as needed for the spweekly user credentials.

3.

Enter bin to select binary file transfer.

4.

Enter put followed by the file name to transfer the file.

5.

Enter quit to exit the FTP process.

Configuring the Firewall

1.

In the left navigation pane, click SPmaint.

2.

Under Service Processor - SP Maintenance, click Network Configuration.

3.

Under Service Processor - Network Configuration, click Firewall Manipulation.

4.

Under Service Processor - SP Firewall Control, configure the settings that you want.

Disabling Permissive Mode

By default, Permissive mode is enabled for the firewall. For increased security, you can disable
Permissive mode by using SPOCC. If you do this, you must first add at least one host to the firewall
to access SPOCC.

NOTE:

Only the 3parcust user can change firewall rules in Secure Network Mode.

To disable Permissive mode:
1.

Log in to SPOCC by using the 3parcust user account.

2.

In the left navigation pane, click SPMaint.

3.

Click Network Configuration.

4.

Click Firewall Manipulation.

5.

Click Disable Permissive Mode.

Adding a Public or Private Host

1.

In the left navigation pane, click SPmaint.

2.

Under Service Processor - SP Maintenance, click Network Configuration.

3.

Under Service Processor - Network Configuration, click Firewall Manipulation.

4.

Under Service Processor - SP Firewall Control, click Add Public Host or Add Private Host.

5.

Enter the IP address, and then click Add IP Address.

Adding a DNS Server

1.

In the left navigation pane, click SPmaint.

2.

Under Service Processor - SP Maintenance, click Network Configuration.

3.

Under Service Processor - Network Configuration, click DNS Configuration.

4.

Under Service Processor - DNS Configuration, click Add DNS Server.

5.

Enter the IP address, and then click Add IP Address.
