NOTE:

When upgrading from a previous release, local CA replication is disabled by default.

Automatic Synchronization Backups

Prior to each synchronization, and when an SKM joins a cluster, the KMS Server creates an automatic
backup of the full list of items that can be replicated. Your synchronization backup may contain some
configuration settings that you normally do not replicate.

These internal backups adhere to the following naming convention:

sync_autobackup_YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS

where YYYYMMDD is the year, month and day, and HHMMSS is the time.

Synchronization backups can be viewed and restored on the Backup and Restore page. To restore
a backup, you must provide the cluster password used when the backup was created in the Backup
Password field.

Cluster Configuration page

The Cluster Configuration page enables you to create and manage clusters and cluster keys. This
page contains the following sections:

Cluster Members
Cluster Settings
Create Cluster
Join Cluster

Cluster Members

If this device is part of a cluster, this section displays all the members of that cluster, including the
local device, and their status. If this device is not part of a cluster, this section displays no information.
