The Steering Adjust screen enables you to adjust your vehicle steering performance. You can change
the response of the selected item by using the slider bar.
The Steering Adjust scrolling list contains the following items:
• Steering Response controls the oscillations of the vehicle when it is on the desired path.
• Cross-Track Error adjusts how aggressively the vehicle reacts to changes in cross-track error.
• Reverse Response defines how well the vehicle steers when it is on the desired path, but in reverse.
• Line Acquisition determines how aggressively the system steers onto the desired steering path. The goal
here is to tune the system to take the shortest route without excessively sharp or sudden movements of
the vehicle.
Steering Adjust Screen
The Steering Adjust screen enables you to improve
your vehicle autosteering performance. You can
change the response rate of the selected item with the
screen slide bar:
• The turtle icon indicates slower (smooth) response.
• The rabbit icon indicates faster (aggressive) response.

This screen enables you to adjust various parameters of steering components, such as the Manual
Steering Override kickout limit, and view diagnostic information for system components. The list of
components displayed varies depending on your individual installation. The Roof Module component is
the only component that is always displayed.
Roof Module
The Roof Module item enables you to reset the antenna calibration. An antenna calibration is an
essential part of getting the most precise autosteering operation.
