Sky Plot
The Sky Plot chart display shows the Satellite
positions. Satellites that are closer to the horizon
typically have more errors due to atmospheric
disturbances. Ideally, you would like to track six
satellites 30º above the horizon.
• The inner circle represents 60 degrees above the
horizon.
• The middle circle represents 30 degrees above the
horizon.
• The outer most circle represents the horizon.
• Satellites in a square box are GLONASS satellites. GLONASS satellites are tracked and displayed only if
the Feature Code is enabled in your ParaDyme system. See your dealer for information on Feature
Codes. See the following note for more information on GLONASS satellites:
Note:
GLONASS is a satellite Navigation System operated by the Russian Government. It is an
alternative and complementary system to the United States Global Positioning System. Tracking
GLONASS satellites can be helpful in maintaining continuity of position is challenging scenarios
such as working near a tree line. GLONASS tracking with the ParaDyme system requires a Feature Code.
Forecast
The Forecast screen shows satellites availability for a
specific date. Use the outer Left and Right Arrow
buttons to change the date shown. Use the inner Left
