Console Management
Overview
The IntraSwitch’s Local Management Interface is a menu-driven
application that provides for management and configuration of
the IntraSwitch and each of its ports.
The Local Management Interface can be accessed via two meth-
ods:
❏ Out-of-band connection to the Console port
❏ In-band connection via a terminal emulator such
as Telnet (one session)

Important: Refer to Chapter 4, “Setting Up For
Management” for instructions on how to connect
to the Local Management Interface using one of
the two methods listed above.
