Deleting All VLANs
This section contains the procedure for deleting all VLANs, except the
Default VLAN, on a switch. To delete selected VLANs, perform the
procedure Deleting a VLAN on page 140.
To delete all VLANs on a switch, perform the following procedure:
1. From the Main Menu, type 2 to select VLAN Menu.
2. From the VLAN Menu, type 1 to select VLAN Definition.
3. From the VLAN Definition menu, type 6 to select Clear All VLANs.
A following confirmation message is displayed:
This operation deletes ALL user created VLANs!
Do you want to continue [Yes/No] ->
4. Type Y to delete all VLANs or N to cancel the procedure. Press the
Enter key.
Another confirmation message is displayed:
Clear All VLANs Operation was successful!
Please make sure to manually update any static MAC
address entries Press any key to continue...
5. Press any key to continue.
6. Type S to select Save Configuration changes.
All VLANs are deleted and their tagged and untagged ports are
returned to the Default VLAN as untagged ports.
