Playing back a frame

Condition

Cause/Remedy

[Cannot show photos] is
displayed.
[Cannot play tracks] is
displayed.
[Cannot show the item] is
displayed.

 This unit may not be connected to a memory or server properly.

Perform the connection test.
 Display the server list in [ Photos] or [ Music], and select the

memory or server you want to test, and then press OPTIONS.

 Select [Connection test] in the Options menu, and press

(ENTER).

 The connection test starts. Follow the on-screen instructions if

connection fails.

 When a server using software such as “VAIO Media” is specified to the

frame, see the cause/remedy of “A server using a software, such as
“VAIO Media” is not displayed in the list” in “Displaying data on the
browse screen” (page 64).

 External memory specific to the frame may not be inserted correctly.

Make sure the external memory is inserted in the correct direction.

 The name of the folder specific to the frame may have been changed,

or the folder specific to the frame may have been deleted. Check the
folder stored in the memory or server.

 The address of the Internet radio station may be changed in

SHOUTcast. Play back the same Internet radio station in the music
browse screen, and create a new frame.

 The address of RSS site may be changed in the registered RSS. Perform

[RSS registration] again in Web browser, display the same RSS in the
information browse screen, and create a new frame.

[Cannot show photos] is
displayed for members in a
Shared frame.

 A member may have deleted the account of a Web service on the

Internet.

[Cannot show photos.] is
displayed in the Memories
frame.

 Photos shot or updated within one month from today can be

displayed in the Memories frame. The last update date, usually the date
the photo was shot, may be updated depending on the way the photo
data is imported. If the photo data is edited, the date the photo was
edited will become the last updated date.

Photos are not switched
automatically in the Photos
and Info, Shared and Memory
frames.

 Photos may not be switched at the specified interval time immediately

after playing back a frame. Wait for a while or press  to switch to the
next photo manually.

 Photos are not switched automatically when
