• You can also select any of the images (in thumbnail view) from the list in
the Recording Playback Screen.
5.2 Useful Tips for Movie Playback
Pausing Playback
When the movie is playing, press [PLAY] to pause playback.
• To return to playback, press [PLAY] again.
Note
• If you press [SNAPSHOT] while playback is paused, the paused image will be
saved as a picture. When saved pictures are viewed, the long information
display can be used to confirm time of recording (see page 126). By saving only
the needed portions of movies as pictures, you can then erase the movie to
more effectively use memory card capacity.
Frame-by-frame Playback
When playback is paused, press the top navigator key to move forward by single
frames and the bottom navigator key rewind by single frames.
Fast Forward/Rewind Playback
During playback, press the top navigator key to fast forward playback and the
bottom navigator key to rewind playback.
Playing the Next (or Previous) Movie
During playback, press the right navigator key to play the next movie and the left
navigator key to start playback from the beginning of the current movie.
If you press the left navigator key during the first 3 seconds of the movie, the
previous movie will play.
