Specifications for setting the parameters
In order to set the parameters, you will require the following
specifications:
– the cylinder stroke length (see type plate on the drive
used)
– the valve type (see type plate on proportional directional
control valve used)
– the maximum mass load with which the slide may be
loaded.
Mass load
If you wish to position with different masses:
– Positioning with a mass up to 30 % less is usually no
problem. Further reduction of the mass can lead to a
deterioration in positioning behaviour and make opti-
mization necessary (see system manual).
– If necessary, place a basic load on the drive, in order to
set a higher mass. Positioning can then be made with a
higher difference of mass.
– Always set the amplification and cushioning stages for the
maximum mass load used.
