Picture is too
light.

The flash is not needed. Change to Auto flash or Flash Off

The subject was too
close for flash.

Move so there is at least 2.0 ft (0.6
m) in Wide; 3.9 ft (1.0 m) in Tele
between camera and subject.

Too much light.

Reposition the camera or subject
to decrease available light.
Use PASM mode to adjust the
aperture or shutter speed

Auto exposure was not
achieved.

To take the best possible pictures,
press the Shutter button
half-way and hold

. When the

AF/AE indicator turns green, press
the Shutter button the rest of the
way down

to take the picture.

In Review mode,
multi-up video
display, a blue
screen is
displayed instead
of a picture.

The camera is
processing a picture.

The camera is operating normally.
When processing ends, the first
frame of the video is displayed on
the multi-up screen.

Stored pictures
are damaged.

The card was removed
or the battery expired
while the mode light or
the image storage icon
was blinking.

Retake picture. Turn off the
camera before removing the card.
Keep battery charged.
