Turning Off the Shutter Sound
1 Press the Menu button.
2 Press to highlight Setup , then press the OK button.
3 Press to highlight Shutter Sound , then press the OK button.
4 Press to highlight Off, then press the
OK button.
No sound plays when a picture is taken.
5 Press the Menu button to exit the menu.
This setting remains until you change it.
Turning Off the Mode Description
When you turn on the camera or rotate the Mode dial to change modes, the
name and a short description of the mode chosen is displayed on the screen.
Use the Mode Description feature to turn off the mode description display.
1 Press the Menu button.
2 Press to highlight Setup , then press the OK button.
3 Press to highlight Mode Description , then press the OK button.
4 Press to highlight Off, then press the
OK button.
The mode name and description are not
displayed on the screen when you change
modes.
5 Press the Menu button to exit the menu.
This setting remains until you change it.
