6.6 Sending a fax with the specified original scanning
area (Scan Size)
Scan Size
Scan Size is a function for specifying the scanning size of an original.
When the paper width on the recipient’s side is smaller than the paper size
of the original that is sent, the original is reduced and then printed. When the
original is not to be reduced, and the scan size is specified for the paper size
on the recipient’s side, the original of the original size can be sent.

Note
The original scanning position of an original loaded on ADF is different
from the original scanning position of an original loaded on original glass.
When Scan Size and mixed Original Setting are specified at the same
time, the size specified in Scan Size is applied.
Sending the fax by specifying the scan size

Press [Fax/Scan] key to display the Fax/Scan screen.

Load the original.
