9.22 Specifying Transmission/Reception Mode (Line Pa-
rameter Settings)
When IP address fax are used, number of auto redials and auto redial interval
are set.
These are normally shared with fax functions. Other settings are not used in
IP address fax.
Number of Redials: European models: 0-7 times (3 times*)
North American models: 0-7 (1 time*)

Number of redials are set when recipient is not responding as line is busy
etc.
Redial Interval: 1-15 minutes (3 minutes*)

Interval for redial is set.
* is a default value at the time of purchase.

Display Administrator Settings screen after referring to “Displaying Ad-
ministrator Settings screen” on page 9-4.

Touch [Fax Settings].
– Some items may not be displayed according to setting options.
– In the Utility mode, numbers displayed on buttons can be entered
and selected with the keypad. For [Fax Settings], enter [8] with the
keypad.
