6.3 Sending the fax after accentuating the text edges
(Sharpness)
Sharpness
Sharpness is the function that adjusts the intensity of the edges. When the
text in the original is blurred, the clarity of the text can be increased by ad-
justing the sharpness with “+”. Moreover, the text can be smoothened by de-
creasing the sharpness with “-”.

Can be used in both original glass and ADF.
This function cannot be used in color mode of IP Address Fax.
Sending the fax after adjusting the sharpness

Press [Fax/Scan] key to display the Fax/Scan screen.

Load the original.

Touch the buttons in the order of [Scan Settings], [Quality Adjustment].
