1.4 Features of IP Address Fax
IP Address Fax can communicate with IP network.
You transmit a fax after specifying an IP address or host name for a recipient.

SMTP is used for the transmission and reception protocol.
Can be used only within an intranet.
Mail servers such as Internet Fax are not required.
Color faxes can be sent and received.
