4 When the “Scan” button on the menu screen is pressed, the LED lamp turns
red and scanning is started.
NOTE !  If enabled, the buzzer sounds when the Manual Switch (option) is
pressed, and scanning is begun.
 The buzzer can be disabled in the Maintenance Mode by an
authorized dealer.
5 The buzzer sounds when scanning is completed, and the LED lamp changes
into green afterwards.
When the LED lamp changes to green the next image can be scanned.
NOTE !  Please move neither hand nor the arm to obtain the best image
until the image reading is completed (Until the buzzer of the
reading completion rings).
 Hold down the handle so that the Glass Plate will not shift while
scanning is in progress.
 Avoid motion such as walking near the Scanner while scanning is
in progress as it may alter the lighting of the book surface. Also,
never wear white clothing since its reflection may alter the
luminance of the book surface.
 The buzzer can be disabled in the Maintenance Mode by an
authorized dealer.
