Reminder
If the LDAP server settings are not set correctly, interference may occur in the network. These settings
should be specified by the network administrator.
Specifying the settings

In the Network Settings screen, touch [LDAP Settings].

To use the LDAP server, touch [YES]. To not use the LDAP server, touch [NO].
– If "YES" was selected, continue with step 3.
– If "NO" was selected, touch [OK]. The Network Settings screen appears again.

Touch [Setting Up LDAP].

Touch the button to be programmed.
– A maximum of five LDAP servers can be registered.
Parameter Description
LDAP Settings Specify the settings used to connect to the LDAP server.
To use the LDAP server, touch [YES]. To not use the LDAP server, touch [NO].
Setting Up LDAP Register the information for the LDAP server to be connected to. Settings can be speci-
fied for the following.
Server Name Type in the name of the LDAP server to be connected to.
Server Address Type in the address of the LDAP server to be connected to.
SSL Setting Select whether or not to use SSL encryption when communicating with the LDAP server.
Port Number Type in the port number to be used for communicating with the LDAP server.
Search Base Specify the starting point for LDAP searches.
Auth. Type Select the LDAP authentication method.
Login Name Type in the logon name for the LDAP server.
If "Anonymous" was selected as the authentication method, no setting is necessary.
Password Type in the logon password for the LDAP server.
If "Anonymous" was selected as the authentication method, no setting is necessary.
Domain Name Type in the domain name.
Specify if "GSS-SPNEGO" was selected as the authentication method.
Maximum Search Type in the maximum number of items that can be received as LDAP search results.
Timeout Type in the length of time until the LDAP search times out.
[Check connect.]
button Touch to check the connection with the LDAP server.
[Initial] button Touch to erase the data for the registered LDAP server.
Search Default Setting Specify the LDAP server to be used as the default when multiple LDAP servers are reg-
istered.
